Funeral notice for Mike Garrahy AFSM

Mike Garrahy AFSM passed away peacefully on Tuesday the 12th November surrounded by his family. Loved and adored husband of Jean, father to William and Glenn, grandfather, volunteer firefighter, Fire Warden and President of the RFBAQ, Mike’s enthusiasm and love of life will be greatly missed.
Relatives, friends, brigade volunteers, SES volunteers and public are all warmly welcome to attend Mike’s funeral at the Uniting Church, 17 Emu Creek Road, Crows Nest on Saturday the 22nd November commencing at 1pm. Brigade and SES volunteers are requested to wear their yellows and orange in memory of his dedication and commitment to the cause of supporting all rural fire and SES volunteers.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations in Mike’s memory be given to the Rural Fire Brigades Association Queensland.
