Now Open - Nominations for RFBAQ Representative for the Toowoomba District (excluding Miles District)

We have now opened nominations for the elected volunteer position of RFBAQ Representative for the Toowoomba District (excluding Miles District) with forms and information posted out last week to each brigade secretary.

As a RFBAQ Representative you will represent the whole of the Toowoomba Inspector District (excluding Miles District), in line with the By-Laws and Policies of the Association. More information on the Roles and Expectations of a RFBAQ Representatives can be downloaded here. The RFBAQ has one (1) elected Representative for each of the 17 Inspector District.

Click here to download a Nomination Form to nominate a candidate for the position of RFBAQ Representative for the Toowoomba District, then compete and return to the Returning Officer by Tuesday, 27th January 2015. To be eligible to nominate you must be a registered member of a registered Rural Fire Brigade. Please ensure that all requirements in the checklist included in the nomination form has been fulfilled and completed.

If more than one nomination is received, then a Ballot Paper along with the nominee's bio/resume will be mailed out to each brigade secretary in the Toowoomba Inspector District. Nominee's bio/resume will also be available on our website so that brigade members will be able to make an informed decision. One Ballot Paper will be mailed to each brigade secretary as it is one vote per brigade, and therefore will not be made available online.
