Now Open - Nominations for RFBAQ Representative for the Burnett, Gladstone and West Moreton Districts

Following recommendations from the Malone Review into the Rural Fire Service, 3 new RFSQ District Offices have been opened in Burnett, Gladstone and South Coast (the former Ipswich district has been split into West Moreton and South Coast).
The RFBAQ has now opened nominations for the elected volunteer position of RFBAQ Representative for the Burnett, Gladstone and West Moreton RFSQ Districts with forms and information posted out to every brigade secretary in the 3 districts.

As an RFBAQ Representative you will represent your Inspector’s District in line with the By-Laws and Policies of the Association. More information on the Roles and Expectations of a RFBAQ Representatives can be downloaded here. The RFBAQ has one (1) elected Representative for each RFSQ District.
Click on the relevant link below to download a Nomination Form to nominate a candidate for the position of RFBAQ Representative.
Nomination Forms will need to be completed and return to the Returning Officer by Monday, 29th June 2015. To be eligible to nominate you must be a registered member of a registered Rural Fire Brigade. Please ensure that all requirements in the checklist included in the nomination form has been fulfilled and completed including a ½ page biography of the nominee.
If more than one nomination is received, then a Ballot Paper along with the nominee's bio/resume will be mailed out to each brigade secretary in the Inspector’s District. Nominee's bio/resume will also be available on our website so that brigade members will be able to make an informed decision. One Ballot Paper will be mailed to each brigade secretary as it is one vote per brigade, and therefore will not be made available online.
