RFSQ Manager Air Operations Position Advertised

The RFBAQ encourages all RFB volunteers who are eligible to apply for the position that are responsible to manage and coordinate the QFES’s air operations capability, including the operating systems, budget and controls for operational readiness and response. This will include consultation within QFES, the aviation industry and other fire authorities.
The successful candidates for the Manager Air Operations must possess the following:
- C Class (car) Driver’s licence.
- Eligibility for appointment to such classification is in accordance with the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service Interim Award - State 2012 and other relevant Industrial Instruments. This position is open to both Fire and Rescue and RFSQ personnel either at level or through promotion from the FPO2 (Urban) or RFMO2 (Rural) streams
- External applicants must have suitable contemporary fire and organisational management experience within a fire and rescue service or fire management agency to the satisfaction of the Commissioner Queensland Fire and Emergency Services.
