Thursday, 23 Jun 2016
Great News - The RFSQ has announced that they will fund a further 3 RFB Volunteers to attend AFAC/Interschutz in addition to the 14 RFB Volunteers funded by the RFBAQ.
This now brings the total contribution to $24,000 for the 17 Rural Fire Brigade members to attend the conference. The RFBAQ would sincerely like to thank the RFSQ for also fully funding their travel and accommodation.
With this years' conference focusing on Mitigation, Response and Recovery, it is natural that brigade volunteers who defend 93% of Queensland are present to learn so that they can take back to their diverse communities strategies and solutions prompted by AFAC.
