Letter to the Editor
Monday, 6 Feb 2017
In September 2015 the Queensland Parliament passed the fairest Deemed Diseases Laws for cancer in Australia (Presumptive Legislation).
The coverage period was backdated to when the legislation was first tabled in parliament and commenced on the 15th July 2015.
In the 18 months that the Deemed Disease Law has been in place, 8 Rural Fire Brigade volunteers have been accepted with another application pending.
Attached is a Letter to the Editor that the RFBAQ has written to thank each and every Queensland Member of Parliament for their support.
