Noon Family Appeal
Tuesday, 4 Jul 2017
The Cedar Creek/Wolffdene Rural Fire community received tragic news last week that two members of one of our families, the Noon family, were involved in a serious traffic accident. This sadly resulted in the passing of David Noon a Firefighter from Cedar Creek/Wolffdene Rural Fire Brigade, who we all knew as a beloved husband, father and friend and committed volunteer.
Reanna is still in hospital in a stable but serious condition. Our Unit and the Community has reached out to David’s wife and two daughters and assured them of our ongoing support at an extremely difficult time.
Reanna is an active member and a Cadet Leader of the PCYC Emergency Services Cadets based at the Cedar Creek/Wolffdene Rural Fire Brigade. As well as being a cadet she actively participates in sports and has recently walked the Kokoda track in Papua New Guinea. Reanna was chosen as the Fire and Emergency Services Youth representative for 2016 and by Women and Firefighting Australia (WAFA) as their youth of the year.
Resulting from this tragic accident there will be many ongoing expenses, medical for the repair of Reanna’s body and spirit and for the family to regain a small piece of their former life. Please assist by supporting this appeal for the Noon family.
