Stockyard Point township gets much needed water connection

The Stockyard Point township is now better equipped to fight bushfires in their area thanks to the generous donation of $13,223 from the Rural Fire Brigades Association Queensland (RFBAQ). The RFBAQ grant funding to the Stockyard Point Rural Fire Brigade to complete this community project is the first of its kind for the township and may be the only township in Queensland to have constructed a water pipeline fitted with 21 fire hydrants pumping from 100,000 litres of tank water...
