Vale: 1st Officer Brendon Goldsmith - South Nanango Rural Fire Brigade
It is the saddest possible news that the Association is now passing on. The thoughts of all of the Association Representatives and Staff are with the family and friends of Brendon Goldsmith of South Nanango Rural Fire Brigade.
The funeral service of 1st Officer Brendon Goldsmith, will be held Thursday 8th March, starting with a Memorial Service at Nanango Showground’s Pavilion at 11am, followed by foot procession to a graveside service at Nanango Lawn Cemetery.
Following the service all are asked to attend a gathering at the Nanango Showground’s Pavilion to honour Brendon’s life.
Brendon was a long serving Volunteer within his community and the Rural Fire Service. Further to being 1st Officer, Brendon was a BTSO for the Toowoomba District as well as the Caloundra District and Group Officer for Nanango Group alongside his wife Tracy who is a Volunteer Community Educator and Volunteer with South Nanango RFB.
Once again the Association would like to offer the sympathy and support of all Volunteers in Queensland and that of the wider firefighting community.
Any donations may be made directly to the Goldsmith family.
