RFBAQ is calling nominations for Area Representative in the Rockhampton Area
The Rural Fire Brigades Association Qld. (RFBAQ) is calling nominations for Area Representative in the Rockhampton Area.
The Association provides support and financial assistance to Brigades and Volunteers across the State.
This position provides Brigade Volunteers with a voice for the Rockhampton Area enabling items of improvement or concern to be carried by the State Executive for discussion with Management of Queensland Fire & Rescue Service, Rural Operations Management and the Minister of Community Safety.
Brigades have the ability to nominate a suitable person that will adequately represent the whole of their Inspectors/ Directors area in line with the attached By-Laws and Policies of the Association.
All Rural Fire Brigade Secretaries within the Rockhampton Area will receive information in relation to this election in the mail next week.
Please note: Following the election process and prior to the confirmation of the newly appointed Area Representative for the Association; that Representative is required to undergo a Police Check.
