The Executive Manager Bushfire Mitigation will be responsible for the state-wide strategic management, promotion and expansion of preventative bushfire mitigation strategies and education programs. The role is required to maintain effective working relationships with the Fire Warden network, Fire Management Groups, Interdepartmental Committee for Bushfires and public and private sector stakeholder groups.

Mandatory Requirements

  • C Class  (car)  Drivers licence
  • Internal applicants must provide evidence that they are eligible for appointment in accordance with the QFES Award – State 2012.
  • External applicants must hold comparable skills & abilities to the satisfaction of the selection panel.
