Rural Fire supporting ANZAC Day - Monday, 24th April to meet 6AM in King George Square

Monday, 20 Mar 2017

A big thank you to all Rural Fire and SES volunteers who helped make Friday, 11th November Remembrance Day 'storming' of Brisbane CBD a great success.

Each year the RFBAQ helps support the ANZAC Day Commemoration Committee's (ADCC's) annual events by rallying up volunteers to work alongside Army Cadets, Australian Army, Navy and Air Force personnel.

The Remembrance Day and ANZAC Day 'storming' of Brisbane CBD sees vollie's arriving early in their yellows and orange to help raise awareness, remember those who fought for Australia and support the widows and orphans through the generosity of donations received by the public.

If you're a Rural Fire or SES volunteer and available to help out on Monday, 24th April meet in King George Square (opposite City Hall) anytime from 6.00 am please email Hedley Lockyer (preferred) or call 0418 260 267.

Hope to see you there!
