New RFBAQ Leadership team endorsed by State Executive meeting

Saturday 14th October saw the RFBAQ General Meeting / Annual General Meeting and the completion of the triennial election process.
The election of the Senior Executive Management Committee was completed and we would like to congratulate the new team and thank Jon Bundy for his work as former RFBAQ President and Graeme McWilliam for his service on the former SEM.
RFBAQ President – Ian Pike AFSM - Caloundra Area
Senior Vice President – Nellie Baron – Charters Towers / Cloncurry Area
Junior Vice President – Jim Besgrove AFSM – Townsville Area
SEM Member – Jon Bundy – Roma Area
SEM Member – Ian Swadling AFSM – Caboolture Area
The election also saw all strategic committee positions become available for election.
Each RFSQ Strategic Committee is chaired by an RFSQ Superintendent and comprises 3 RFBAQ elected Representatives who provide reports on committee decisions and policies to all RFBAQ Reps.
Each committee also contains 3 RFSQ volunteers who are chosen by RFSQ every 2 years and RFSQ / QFES staff as necessary.

The Governance Committee comprises the 3 RFBAQ Committee leads to ensure that there is a clear overview of the work the Strategic Committees are considering.
This Governance Committee will report to the SEM .

With the completion of the election process, the RFBAQ would again like to thank retiring RFBAQ Representatives for their service to brigades across the state.
