West Moreton - Ballots opened and counted – New RFBAQ Rep for a new RFSQ District

Thursday 27th August saw the ballot opening in the election for a RFBAQ volunteer Representative for the newly created West Moreton RFSQ District.

Present at the opening of the sealed ballot papers were the two candidates, John Sexton of Redbank Creek RFB and Bill Doorley, Esk Group Officer.

The sealed ballots were opened and counted at the Ripley RFSQ Office with Superintendent Corey Bock and Inspector Peta Miller Rose.

The RFBAQ would like to thank both candidates for nominating to represent the brigades in the new district and for participating in an open and fair electoral process and would like to congratulate Bill Doorley in being elected as West Moreton RFBAQ District Representative.

Brigades in the West Moreton district will be notified by mail over the coming week.
