Interim Leadership Change in RFBAQ

Alan Gillespie AFSM today tendered his written resignation to the RFBAQ Returning Officer from the President and South Coast District Representative RFBAQ positions.
The RFBAQ Senior Executive Management (SEM), Representatives and staff would like to thank Alan for his excellent service to the brigades in his RFBAQ District and his tireless efforts for all brigades over the last 18 months as President. We wish him well in his new position as RFSQ Superintendent for South East Region.
Jon Bundy was today voted in as Acting RFBAQ President until the vote of the whole State Executive meeting on Saturday, 17th September.
Nellie Baron was voted in as Acting Junior Vice President of the RFBAQ and Ian Pike AFSM was invited to join the Senior Executive Management.

The RFBAQ constitution requires that an election be called for a vacant RFBAQ District within 2 months of a vacancy arising; and the RFBAQ Returning Officer will be calling for nomination of the suitability qualified brigade volunteers within the next 2 months.
The interim RFBAQ Leadership Team will ensure that the progress that the RFBAQ has made on behalf of all Queensland brigades continues through a consultative and collegiate process with all stakeholders.
