This morning at John Madill’s Toyota in Gympie Alex one of our RFBAQ Call Centre Agents handed over the Major Prize from Art Union 103 a brand new Toyota Corolla Cross. The lucky winner Karin has been supporting the RFBAQ since 2005 as she believes in the Association and the support we offer to the Volunteers.
Karin told us about the day she received the call from David the Contact Centre Manager, she recognised the number and said I will call them back soon then her mobile rang, and David left a message to call back. She had a quick look at the date and said to her husband Denis oh maybe we have won a consolation prize wouldn’t that be wonderful. She called David back and after a very exciting phone call she still can’t believe she actually won the Major Prize. She said never in her wildest dreams did she ever think she would win a car. Karin & Denis are so appreciative after having such a tough year, Karin said it’s the icing on the cake for us. They would like to thank everyone at the RFBAQ, John Madill’s Toyota and of course the volunteers for everything they do. We wished Karin & her family a safe trip home and she told us she will continue to support for as long as she can.
