RFBAQ election results for Warwick

Friday 17^th July saw the local Member of Parliament for Gympie and Minister for Primary Industries, Hon. Tony Perrett MP open ballot envelopes and count ballot papers for the Warwick election.

This is the 4^th triennial election where Tony has kindly made time to conduct the count.

As returning officer I would like to thank both Patricia Bates from Mallow RFB and James Massey OAM from Sugarloaf RFB for nominating to represent the 51 brigades in the Warwick RFSQ Area; and I would like to declare James Massey OAM elected.

Incoming RFBAQ reps commence their roles at the start of the RFBAQ General Meeting that will be held on the 10^th of October 2026.

Cath Duddy from Oman Ama RFB has retired from being the Warwick representative and former Western Rivers representative, and I would like to thank her for the support and many hours she has given to the brigades within her RFSQ Area and across Queensland; the changes that she has helped bring about through the State Executive has benefited volunteers across the state.
