Dick Irwin, CEO of RFBAQ has recently collaborated with Direct Marketing Software (DMS) to develop a new state-of-the-art website for the organisation. The new website uses modern e-commerce technology developed specifically by DMS, and allows for a variety of new features and capabilities. Department of Defence Wide Bay Training
A major hazard reduction exercise was carried out during early July at the Department of Defence Wide Bay Training are when approximately 2000 hectares was successfully burnt and cleared of hazardous material. The operation was carried out by members from 8 Rural Fire Brigades and involved personnel from Forest Products Queensland, SES and Main Roads as well as defence officers. The exercise was an excellent example of inter-agency co-operation and a great opportunity for Brigades to work with other brigades.
