Stewart & Heaton Clothing and Drummond and Kindred Clothing have generously donated 1,000 Comfort Koalas to the RFBAQ to distribute to Queensland Rural Fire Brigades.

These Comfort Koalas will be on fire appliances to provide relief and comfort to children in the event of road accident or other incident.

In 2022-23, Queensland Rural Fire Brigades attended over 400 vehicle-related incidents - providing a road crash rescue response for numerous isolated regions of the state.

The Comfort Koalas will arrive at truck brigades throughout the week.

Each RFSQ Area and RFSQ Regional Office will hold a small supply so they can replace the Comfort Koalas;  if a brigade has used their Comfort Koala, it can be replaced quickly.

The RFBAQ would like to thank Stewart & Heaton Clothing and Drummond and Kindred Clothing for this very generous donation and RFSQ for facilitating the distribution.
