Congratulations to Ducabrook RFB and Bajool RFB, winners of the Milwaukee competition

A huge thankyou to all the brigades who wrote in to apply for the Milwaukee packs.

The RFBAQ management committee read each submission and voted on who should receive the two packs, and the competition was very close.

Bajool RFB is a truck brigade and is located on the Bruce Highway 35 km south of Rockhampton; Ducabrook RFB is a Primary Producer Brigade and is located 70km northwest of Springsure.

Each kit is valued at $3,000 and contains -

M18 FUEL™ 14" (356mm) Top Handle Chainsaw Kit, M18 FUEL™ Blower, M18 FUEL™ 2 Piece Power Pack 2AB3, M18™ High Output Stand Area Light/Charger, and M18™ LED Search Light.

Hello, my name is H... and I am seven.

My dad is the first officer and my grandad is the fire warden of the ducabrook rural fire brigade .

We need the chainsaw to clear trees of roads and fire breaks.

We would use the blower for leaves on roofs, gutters and debris close to buildings.

We would use the power pack to fix the fire brigade equipment and odd jobs.

We would use the light in the dark because the best time to fight a fire is at night and that is why we need the light.

We use Milwaukee tools all the time and we need a charger so Dad can fight fire.
