Volunteer Area Training Officer | PCYC Emergency Services Cadets Adult Leader
I am the First Officer of Cedar Creek Wolffdene Rural Fire Brigade. With over 15 years of service in the Rural Fire Service Queensland (RFSQ), I have extensive operational experience, strong leadership, and a deep commitment to volunteer development and community safety.
In addition to my frontline leadership, I am a Volunteer Area Training Officer (VATO), supporting the training and development of RFSQ members across the region. I am also an adult leader with the PCYC Emergency Services Cadets, mentoring the next generation of emergency service volunteers.
I am known for my calm leadership on the fireground, proactive brigade development, and collaborative approach to inter-agency coordination.
My efforts and work highlights the critical role of volunteers in the RFSQ and reflects my ongoing commitment to training, preparedness, and the communities I serve.
As a RFBAQ rep I want to build a solid RFSQ. For it to be built and based on what volunteers and members want and what the community needs. To have a professional service yet still community based and connected. To listen to brigades and their members and be an instrument to help shape a great future for the RFSQ.
