RFSA / RFBAQ display at AFAC17 powered by INTERSCHUTZ

The RFBAQ would again like to thank AFAC17 powered by INTERSCHUTZ for sponsoring the RFBAQ to attend AFAC17 in Darling Harbour.

This year we partnered with NSW RFSA (Rural Fire Service Association) and CAVFA (Council of Australian Volunteer Fire Associations) at the stand in Sydney.

Over the last three days we have spoken to hundreds of emergency volunteers, paid staff and exhibitors about what Rural Fire Brigades do in Queensland and how volunteers selflessly give up their time to defend their community from fire, flood and cyclone.

With over 160 exhibitors showcasing the latest in emergency services equipment, entry was again extended free to brigade volunteers who registered to attend the trade show.

The RFBAQ would also like to thank QuikCorp Fire Engineering for transporting the RFBAQ stand material from Queensland to Sydney.

Having the support of three organisations such as AFAC, QuikCorp and Deutsche Messe (INTERSCHUTZ) allows the RFBAQ to extend the knowledge of what the yellow trucks do in defending 93% of the state to a far wider audience.
